Local communities. One county at a time.
County Portal is a national network of local directories built county by county. Every county in the United States is already in our system, so no community is left out while we grow.
Counties have one of two statuses. Live means the full local portal is open — residents can browse businesses, events and resources. Coming soon means the county accepts listings but hasn't published its portal yet.
That's deliberate. A business owner in a coming-soon county can still claim a free listing today. Approved listings are reserved and publish automatically the moment we activate that county.
Which county comes next isn't a guess. The counties with the most businesses and residents signing up are the ones we open first — the community tells us where to build.
Free listings are available nationwide from day one. Featured and Premier upgrades are only sold in counties where the portal is actually live and delivering value.
Data sources
County names, boundaries and FIPS codes come from the U.S. Census Bureau, which is also the authoritative matcher that assigns each submitted business address to its county. Address autocomplete on our submission form is powered by Geoapify, built on open data from © OpenStreetMap contributors, OpenAddresses and GeoNames.
