Find Your Calling
A calling isn't only a job. It can be the work you do, the way you volunteer, caring for family, mentoring someone younger, serving your community, or building something useful for others. CountyPortal doesn't tell anyone what their calling is — it helps connect reflection with real opportunities close to home.
Inspired by Scott Dinsmore
Scott Dinsmore believed that everyone can find work they love by understanding their strengths, their values and the people around them. He founded Live Your Legend to help people do just that, and his message continues to encourage people to build lives of meaningful contribution.

How it connects
- National inspiration
- Practical ideas
- County resources
- Local involvement
National ideas are only the start. Each county is different, so local resources and opportunities are added county by county as they're verified.
Share an idea
Do you know a resource, program or practical idea that helps people find their calling — or a way to connect national ideas with local involvement in a county? We'd love to hear it. Suggestions are reviewed before anything is added; sending one doesn't mean it's approved or listed.
